The New Era of Sterilization Science and Robotics International Summit 2024 began on October 28 with an atmosphere full of innovation and collaboration, setting the stage for a transformative event in healthcare and sterilization technology.

The opening ceremony featured a powerful welcome address by the FISPM President Dr. Virgilio "Doc Thammy" Jackson Casinares together with the strong words coming from the Keynote speaker Congressman Peter B. Miguel, MD, who underscored the summit’s theme, “The New Era in Sterilization Science and Robotics,” emphasizing the impact of cutting-edge research and robotics advancements.

Day 1 showcased remarkable sessions, including a compelling talk by Dr. Ahmed Bagasshi from KSA on CSSD Education, highlighting robotic technology’s role in enhancing efficiency and safety in sterile processing. Interactive discussions on Scientific Principles in Sterilization, Best Practices, and The Importance of Validation and Monitoring engaged the audience, expertly moderated by Ms. Kaye and Doc Thammy.
